It's a nice day for a... colourful wedding: design in 3D. Have confidence in real life

Controversial opinion...

...white weddings are popular because they're easy.

Let's be really clear.

We're not saying there isn't a huge amount of planning that goes into the average wedding - there is. It's just that white is risk free. White is neutral. White goes with white.

But the thing is, if you were to look around your clients' house, we would bet they're playing with a more diverse colour palette.

So when your client is welcoming colour and design into other aspects of their lives, who's to say they don't want it at their wedding?

What most event planners don't realise is that it's easier than ever to visualise an event in 3D. This means you can come up with a bespoke design with zero risk. Because, let's face it, even with a totally neutral wedding, you can't mitigate the biggest risk factor for an event. Without 3D Visuals

there is no dry run on design.

We actually can't say this enough: without 3D visualisation there is no dry run. There is only: "run".

Which means by the time your clients get to truly appreciate what you've created for them... it's too late if they want to make changes.

And as an event planner, you've taken on all that risk for them, done everything you can, made an event you feel has hit the brief out of the park.

But if your client doesn't agree... there is only "run"!

Which is why we're such a fan of 3D Visuals.

Creating a wedding dry run with 3D Visualisation and design

With 3D Visualisation you can hire a visualiser, like Silverley Visuals, to create a 3D version of your event. You can ask us to decorate it however your client desires and then have us create options for your client to choose from. Not only will it make them feel more involved in the overall event, but it means there's more guarantee they'll love it on the day.

Bespoke weddings with 3D design

Drawing inspiration from your client's daily life...

... not only flatters your client, but make the event more personal. Weddings are deeply personal days. By using inspiration from their own design aesthetic you show you know and respect this.

Give friends and family a way to connect

By including a look and feel similar to the client's design aesthetic and personality, you create the impression that every aspect of the day has their personal touch on it. All of the guests have turned up to celebrate the couple - using 3D Visualisation ensures the event does too.

Creative designs lead to bigger clients

More original designs led to more interesting and adventurous (wealthy) clients. Showcasing your creativity is a sure way to start taking on more adventurous (bigger) projects because you've already proved you have what it takes aesthetically.

Make changes. Have confidence

When you visualise your client's wedding in 3D, you can refine the design and create changes months before the day so they're totally happy and excited about what's to come. In 3D we can optioneer every aspect of the event so it works within the creative vision and budget of your client.

That's great, but how do I start?

Here's how you help them realise a more creative and bespoke vision:

1. Notice: what are your clients wearing? What are the colours that keep coming up? How fitted are their clothes? What style keeps coming up?

e.g. if the client's aesthetic is more rock-y, it worth discussing alternatives to pastel shades

2. Research: look through their instagam feeds - what is the aesthetic of the places they spend time at?

e.g. if you're starting to pick up on a particular aesthetic, present a precedent image to your client and see how they react

3. Ask: what's their favourite piece of furniture?

Listen for the key words: vintage, bespoke, family heirloom, latest. All of these will give you a steer on what the client likes and values

4. Get in touch: we can visualise your client's event in 3D and ensure you've captured their bespoke design months before you need to start purchasing for the event
